Hello. I’m Jessica, and I’m thrilled that you’ve stopped by my blog!
And then it was January 2011. The wedding was over, our guests had wrapped up their visits and we had completed all of our own weekend getaways. Even with a new schedule of French classes on the calendar, I had way too much time on my hands; I needed a project. So, I’m writing Luxemblog.
My agenda here is pretty simple: if it takes me a while to figure something out, it probably takes other people a while to figure out, too. So, the things I write about are usually either recaps of topics or activities I’m curious about and couldn’t find an easy answer to, or are recaps of things I’ve done that I want to learn more about after the fact that I think might also be helpful to you.

You can be notified about new Luxemblog posts via Facebook, through Twitter (where I also tweet and re-tweet interesting tidbits, news and events about Luxembourg), via RSS feed through the "subscribe to Luxemblog" form at the top of this page, or receive each new Luxemblog post directly in your inbox by entering your e-mail address in the "Luxemblog by e-mail" box above.
Let’s Make a Deal
Most of my posts are the result of several hours of research online and by telephone. (A huge thank you to tourist offices all over Luxembourg …and especially to the Luxembourg City Tourist Office, which I more or less have on speed dial!)
All of the information I share here is based on sources that I document in each post or on my personal experience in succeeding (or failing) in a certain activity. But, if you notice that I've written something that is incorrect or if you have some really good information to add, can I ask you a favor? Please tell me. Let me know in the comments section, or - even better - e-mail me directly at luxemblogger@gmail.com so I can ask you clarification or follow-up questions if necessary.
There is honestly nothing I detest more than spreading bad information, so I’m serious about wanting you to send corrections and additions. Same thing goes for broken links: if you’ve clicked on a link from my blog that no longer works, please let me know so I can fix it or remove it.
And last, if you’re living in Luxembourg or traveling here on holiday and you're having trouble figuring something out, let me know! Maybe we can figure it out together. I do have a little time on my hands these days, you know…
